The daily timeline game

Timdle is a free daily timeline game. Every day you get nine historical events — things like the printing press, the moon landing, the first iPhone — and one job: put them in chronological order, earliest to latest. One of the nine is already pinned to the line to anchor you, so there are eight for you to place, one at a time.

You don't need to know exact dates. Timdle rewards a feel for roughly when things happened, and it builds that feel fast, because every placement is checked the moment you make it. Did the Suez Canal open before or after the telephone was invented? Place it and you find out immediately. The whole round takes about two minutes, and a new timeline drops at midnight in your own timezone.

Beyond the daily history timeline there are three more modes, nearly a hundred community-made timelines to play, and an archive of every past puzzle. No account is needed to play today's timeline.
